AI is growing increasingly popular and being used in more places as the days go by. With AI growing at a fast speed and becoming more clever as it grows, there has been concern regarding whether employment may eventually be impacted.

What are your thoughts? Will AI impact jobs at some point?

Before it was just tagged robots or machines which was going to impact on jobs drastically because it offers more efficiency and doesn't tire out like human labor do. Now, it's all tagged AI and it's very scary what AI can be able to do when it's fully exploited.

It has been scary to see just how fast AI has developed in such a small amount of time and we know it will only develop further over time.

It is a real worry as to whether AI will become clever enough to take over jobs that many of us do now that we rely on to make a living.

I have a feeling with the way things are going at the moment, we may very well see AI take over some jobs at some point.

AI companies are putting in great work in training AI programs. They are employing a lot man power to train their AI programs. This have made the development of AI skyrocketed. Jobs will be affected in negative way which is going to be very sad.

I think AI already has a huge impact on the job market. A lot of people are already losing jobs because of AI software and hardware. However, the evolution of AI technology is also creating a lot of new opportunities, as well as helping people to work on their existing jobs.

I agree with you here. Over 200,000 tech workers lost their jobs in the industry this year. The companies all blamed it on the economy but I believe that's all lies. My gut tells me their adoption of AI was what resulted in this massive layoff.

You can train an AI to do a lot of things, for instance, you can use AI to create marketing materials, and there is no need for graphic designers and copywriters. If a company adopts tech, it will surely lay off copywriters and graphic designers. However, the evolution of AI also has created new jobs, you can master AI tools and easily get a high-paying job.

There's a company called Remotasks. They are in the business of training AI to do a lot of things. The tasks on their platform help accelerate the development of AI applications. They even pay those who join their program to help with training AI.

I know Remotask, however, I have not started working on the site yet. I have heard of the tasks where you have to train AI and earn money for doing it. The popularity of AI has created a lot of earning opportunities. However, you also need to learn new skills appropriate for the changed circumstances.

AI will undoubtedly have an influence on employment as it will automate repetitive jobs, which may cause job displacement in some industries. However, it also boosts efficiency across a range of businesses and creates new opportunities in AI-related disciplines. The important thing is to modify workforce and education plans to fit the changing nature of the workforce and place an emphasis on skills that function well with AI technology. Retraining and upskilling are proactive steps that people must take in order to thrive in the ever-changing labor market and strike a balance between technological innovation and long-term employment.

A friend of mine is currently with Remotask. He has been working with the company for over 6 months and he's earning quite a lot. I don't it's difficult from what he told me about the training process. I'll join the training program soon.

It will probably be used to create blog posts. However, that leads to an ethical question. If the blog posts are AI generated, then isn't that gaming search engine optimization (SEO)?

AI has already started to affect some job sectors already. For instance, Amazon has started using robots to deliver packages in certain parts of the US, and is currently testing them in warehouses to replace workers. There are companies like IBM that are currently experimenting with using AI software for Customer Service. AI will replace a good amount of the workforce in the next decade.

This is a fact! It's just like I mentioned before on how over 200,000 employees lost their jobs this year as the use of AI become widely used by so many companies. It's a shame that this will now become a norm in our world because companies will always be looking at ways to minimise cost by using AI extensively. This is will keep getting workers sacked.
