Certainly, I inquired with Bard about the start dates for elementary school holidays in my country for the 2023-2024 academic year. Initially, Bard provided inaccurate dates, and even after correction, the days were still incorrect.

For instance, it stated that February 19, 2024, would be a Wednesday when, in reality, it falls on a Monday. This pattern of misinformation extended to sports results, events, and various dates.

I share your concern. Lately, it appears that Bard either lacks internet access or struggles to comprehend the information it retrieves, leading to unprecedented inaccuracies.

Asking about the best debates of a person or a player's trade history results in invented details. Even inquiring about an author's books or someone's biography leads to fabricated information.

The regression has been so significant that I've reverted to using ChatGPT 3.5 or Bing Chat for more reliable and recent information.

I have not used Bing though but I know that Bard is slower than ChatGPT in generating information for queries. But if you all are complaining about Bard not being able to generate and compile information from it's subsidiary search engine, what would you make of ChatGPT whose knowledge base is cut off years ago and one can't get real time information from it.
