Using ChatGPT as a Search Engine

You can ask anything to ChatGPT and you will get a response as long as there are answers available online. ChatGPT will check answers online and provide you with the best solution. Just like you can input a query to Google Search, you can ask ChatGPT and get answers. Do you use ChatGPT to search online? Have you ever used ChatGPT as a replacement for Google, or Bing?

I have on odd occasions used ChatGPT to find answers to questions I had and that was something I used to use search engines for in the past.

I find it useful to get more of a full answer to my question as opposed to a list of websites that may take me longer to find the answer.

It is a good tool to find information in ChatGPT but remember it is not updated info and that is why I mostly use Google Bard which is free and provides the latest information.

ChatGPT has been something I have used for search purposes in the past but it is not my main source of searching. I still use Google Search or Bing to search for things I need online as I find they are much more up-to-date.

ChatGPT is convenient though when working and needing an answer quickly.

I probably use ChatGPT more now as a search engine than I do an actual search engine. I have been able to find answers to each question I have asked and have not felt the need to use something such as Google Search for a while now.

It can be helpful, but I don't recommend relying on it if you need current information because ChatGpt's database is updated to 2021. Outside of that, it's extremely useful as a search engine. Then again, almost anything beats Google search at this point.
