The tragic implosion that happened when Ocean Gate went down to reach the Titanic with 5 people on board, showed just how dangerous it is to allow humans to go down to visit the Titanic wreck no matter how many may want to go down and experience that.

Could AI be used more so now to reach the Titanic?

Seeing Ocean Gate and how it imploded killing everyone on board was such a shock and also very upsetting. Unfortunately, I do not believe this will be the last incident we see as many wish to go down to the Titanic wreck due to the history.

AI could be a good way to prevent any further deaths due to the Titanic but again, due to the history, most want to go down and experience it rather than see it on a camera through AI or a robot.

This is true. Due to the history surrounding the Titanic, many have their hearts set on visiting the wreck in person despite the dangers of going as deep as they have into the Atlantic Ocean. This will always be an issue and those who have their heart set on going down to the wreck in person will do so regardless of whether AI is capable and more safe.

I think AI would be a great idea to see the Titanic Wreck, especially if they have a good camera on the AI. It is way too dangerous for humans to go and see it.
After seeing the news about the Ocean Gate implosion, I don't recommend anyone else go down there.
