Should AI art be clearly labeled?

Some argue AI art should be identified to distinguish it from human-made.

What are perspectives on requiring labels for art created by tools like Midjourney?

AI has become more developed over the last few months and I often have to double-check things to be sure they are human-generated and not AI-generated.

I am someone who feels that anything AI generated should be labelled as so to not only avoid confusion but to also avoid legal issues when needed.

Images can be deceiving and even though someone may say that the image was or was not created by AI, that may not always be the case.

Any images that are AI-generated should always be labelled I believe so that people know what they are getting with an image and not just told that it is or is not AI-generated.

Any art that has been created by AI should have some kind of marking to state that it has been created in that manner. Over time AI art will get better and may even be close to human-created art in time, there needs to be something in place to distinguish it between human art and AI art.
