This is a good question and one that I can say I had not thought about until now. AI can do so much already, it could have so many different hobbies from writing to even creating art or music.

Writing I would think would be a big hobby for AI.

I can't imagine AI having any hobbies because it's not programmed to work that way. The only hobby which I know AI is programmed for is self learning. It wants to learn more and know everything. This is what makes the software relevant in our world.

It's generally what AI is programmed to do, so in essence that's meant to be its hobby. As long as there are going to more things which AI can be programmed to do on its own, it will surely add to the hobbies AI will be into.

Generally, it's all the things which the AI program is designed to do that's going to be it's hobby. The moment it deviates from doing that which it's programmed for, then the AI have gone rouge.

That's an interesting question. Whatever human take as hobbies like writing, art, Music etc would be work for AI because we are using it extensively for it. So, it would like to have a hobby that would give it a break from it's job. I am not sure if AI has been used for physical activities like running, hiking, trekking etc. Maybe it would prefer one of them if it's made capable to do that. Just thinking loud

Nah, I think it'd be cool to see robots/AI share similar interests and hobbies as us, such as painting/drawing or even playing video games. I think that'd be cool, if you're struggling in a video game being able to hand it off to your robot companion to get you through a tough spot.

I'm not sure if a robot would have a feeling to know whether it's enjoying a particular task or not. Can a machine be programmed to develop and express feelings with the level of technology we have in existence now?

I love sports so much. I would love to see AI get involved in various combat sports being played today. I have been seeing some video on YouTube about getting AI powered program bots fighting in the UFC. It would very interesting to see something like that happen.

I have this hunch that AI program's future is all about this. AI programs will keep developing and upgrading to the stage where it will begin looking out for itself survival and not depending on human beings for anything to get by.

If AI will have any hobby in the coming time then it would like to make friends where he can discuss about people's personal and professional issues and can provide a perfect solution. AI is already solving problems and suggesting ideas but it can not ask any query by its own. Getting personal and understand public emotions can be a hobby of AI.

Facts! I believe that most people are very aware of that because it's a program that's designed to learn and work with the information it have gathered. There's nothing like having a code in it which makes provision for it to have a hobby. This is purely speculation we are having here.

I think AI hobbies, will be more in the area of writing. Ai will love to write stories. writing other content or telling stories. Infact anything that will have to do creativity like creative art
