I find discussions like this very absurd. AI can do things that it is trained for. For instance, it can analyze the entire life of a historical person and provide interesting information, if it has been trained with thos data.

This is an interesting question, I am not sure if AI will ever be able to bring back historical figures but if we talk in a world where it would be possible to do so, it would be interesting to bring back past leaders of countries to ask them questions and get their answers on them from history.

There are so many historical figures I think that we could bring back, we only know so much in terms of history and what historians have found out over the years. Bringing back someone who experienced the history we talk about could give us so much more information even some that we may not have known about.

You're right my friend. This is not how AI is programmed to work and as long as AI haven't been set on that course which I don't even see how it's going to be possible even for human beings, AI can't do anything in that same regard.

Well, there is a technology called deepfake that can replicate a person and you make can this person talk whatever you want, however, this is just related to creating a video impersonating another person.

Yes, I know about this type of technology. I've seen it used in Mission Impossible movies. If you have watched the movie franchise, you would be very familiar with it. Just like how AI works with the information it already have, the same technology only works with the data it have been given to replicate another person.

Not just in movies, I have watched deepfake of celebs as well as politicians and I understand how dangerous it can be. maybe it can also be used to create a new persona of a historical figure. For instance, someone can create Hitler or Stalin through deep fake

It's definitely something very dangerous and it shouldn't be legal to so something like this in my opinion because of the dangers it posses to the society.

This can only be made possible by cloning with the DNA of the historical figures in question. If there's no DNA of such person, there's no way AI can be able to clone the individual.

Unfortunately, there's no AI program we are aware of today that is capable of bringing back one historical figure from the past to the present day. I can't even think of how any AI program would do this sort of thing. It's not like AI program is capable of witchcraft or something.

Yes, it's not something that is possible to bring those legends back in any way. AI tools can generate detailed information about them and all they've achieved in life for others to read and learn from but having them back is impossible.

It's surely a very hypothetical question. God even isn't doing such miracles today. I can't remember whenever there was an update about a man of God bringing back someone from the past in a kind of miracle. Only science can so something like this now which we barely see.
