As you know, more students are using to AI to cheat. How will AI be useful in combating things like cheating and using plagiarized work going forward?

AI-powered plagiarism detection tools seem like a double-edged sword. While they can help educators identify instances of plagiarism more efficiently, I wonder about the potential drawbacks, such as false positives or privacy concerns. How do you think these tools address such issues, and what measures are in place to mitigate them? One approach could be the development of AI-powered plagiarism detection tools that can analyze student submissions and compare them against a vast database of academic resources. These tools can help educators identify instances of plagiarism more efficiently, ultimately deterring students from attempting to cheat. There are also AI systems that can detect AI-generated work, which is currently being used by several writing organizations.
You're right to point out the potential issues with AI plagiarism detection tools. While they help catch plagiarism, false positives and privacy worries are real. However, these tools do use advanced algorithms to minimize false alarms.AI-powered plagiarism detection tools seem like a double-edged sword. That's reassuring to hear, but it still doesn't take away from the fact that we're depending on the AI provider to uphold privacy standards. As we've seen in recent years, that's a huge risk because companies usually only care about the money. You're right to point out the potential issues with AI plagiarism detection tools. Well, it actually depends on what have been allowed by each school. There are some educational system that allow even their teachers to make use of AI programs to work on getting their lesson notes and other materials they need to teach with. Student's in such schools won't be asked not to use AI programs. As you know, more students are using to AI to cheat. This is an issue within itself because it'll make schooling redundant due to the fact that you can get all of the information the teacher has access to using AI. Students won't have to think for themselves to solve questions or do tests/assignments.Well, it actually depends on what have been allowed by each school. Yeah, that's definitely a very big problem. When teachers can't work with their own brain, they're pushing their students to do exactly the same thing which they are doing. Now, who's going to blame who for not making use of their brains? This is an issue within itself because it'll make schooling redundant due to the fact that you can get all of the information the teacher has access to using AI. But if students take it in a different way to develop their potential in learning and researching new trends in their field of subject then it is useful for them. AI can offer them better learning materials with real life examples which will help them to solve the problem more quickly. This is an issue within itself because it'll make schooling redundant due to the fact that you can get all of the information the teacher has access to using AI. Yes it is useful for students but what about the teachers. They will lose their credibility and ai makes their work hard and even they will have difficulty to maintain their position. But if students take it in a different way to develop their potential in learning and researching new trends in their field of subject then it is useful for them.
