Have you tried learning a new language with ChatGPT?

I've been thinking about using ChatGPT to help me learn Spanish. Has anyone else tried this? Does it actually work?

Learning a new language using ChatGPT is not something I thought about doing even though it is very much possible. I have in the past been working on learning Korean, going to try out ChatGPT to do this and see how well it goes.

Well, you can use ChatGPT to generate text in other languages but I am not sure if you can actually learn a new language using ChatGPT. In order to learn a language, you first need to hear how it sounds. This is not possible with ChatGPT

Form my point of view, ChatGPT is good for translating content into any language in the form of text but learning language is not an easy job with it because you need to first listen and then speak it is n order to understand the accent.

I am aware that ChatGPT can be used for translating from one language to other. But to learn a language, one needs to know the sounds and audio of the language. I am not sure if that is possible with ChatGPT.
I have used Duolingo app and it's really good. My daughter has learnt Japanese and Korean using it

The pro version could theoretically be used for something like this, as it recently gained the ability to process audio and videos. I haven't tried it yet, as I don't think it'd be that effective.

Learning a new language using ChatGPT is fun. I just joined my sister to learn Spanish with it and so far it has been cool though I have been somewhat busy lately to continue with it. Seeing this question have reminded me to step back and continue from where I stopped.

I'm not sure if it's possible to use ChatGPT for language learning specifically. This is because the AI program isn't coded to work like that but it can get you something on language learning. If you want to learn another language, Duolingo would be what I'm going to recommend for such a task not ChatGPT.
