despite being a pioneer in cutting-edge sciences like quantum computing, AI, and various other fields. Considering they house some of the world's top scientists, the lack of significant publications seems absurd to me. There's a strong possibility that they're concealing something incredibly powerful, and I'm not just referring to Gemini, which I believe will surpass gp4 by a considerable margin. It appears they might be holding onto numerous other groundbreaking technologies, perhaps waiting to see who unveils them first.

I believe that Language Models have the potential to significantly impact our world. As of today, if we're looking for an instance where AI is genuinely contributing to advancing humanity, DeepMind stands out. Their AlphaFold discoveries have paved the way for numerous drugs currently in development. Furthermore, the technology's potential in unlocking advancements in material science seems promising, offering a whole new dimension to this field.

I don't think Google remained Quiet this year. They launched Bard in March 2023 and they have concluded 2023 by announcing Gemini. A lot of people are speculating that it would be better than GPT 4.

Google has been a little more quiet than normal but I wouldn't say they have been unusually quiet. With the launch of Bard and then the announcement of Gemini it is clear that they are working on improving Bard and working on Gemini to ensure a great launch.
