I've always been fascinated by the untold stories and lost knowledge of ancient civilizations.
What if AI could analyze and cross-reference global historical data to uncover these lost chapters? Could we possibly rewrite history books with AI's help?
Do you really believe machines can think better than humans? I don't think so. Machines can only analyze the data that is fed into their system, they cannot come up with new information. However, it might also be able to analyze existing data better than the human mind and might easily find clues about lost historical knowledge.
I don't think AI can uncover untold stories in History as AI has to go through data that has already been told about historical events, which means there will be no way that AI can figure out stories that cannot be told.
AI can't be able to do what it's not taught to do. It can't uncover untold stories which it haven't been taught. Facts about such stories and histories can be fed to it and use the software to generate possible scenerios where something might be uncovered. Apart from that, AI can't do much in this aspect on its own.
