Something I have wondered about Google Bard is if you can provide suggestions or feedback and how this would be done. I at the moment am looking into Google Bard a little more but I find when I look into new services, I always get ideas that I would love to pass on to the developers so it would be ideal to know if this is possible.

Are we able to provide feedback and suggestions?

If you come across an issue when using Google Bard I do know that Google have a feedback feature that you can use to leave the feedback so they see it.

They do say that responses that are wrong or if you feel unsafe but I am sure you could report other issues if you find them

I asked this question on Bard, and here is the response:

Yes, absolutely! User feedback is crucial for helping Google Bard develop and improve. There are several ways you can share your thoughts on Bard:

Directly within Bard:

  • Feedback button: After each interaction with Bard, you'll see a thumbs-up/thumbs-down option to indicate your general satisfaction. You can also click on "Give feedback" to write a more detailed comment about your experience.
  • Report a problem: If you encounter any errors or inaccurate information in Bard's responses, you can click on "Report a problem" to provide specific details.

Public forums:

  • Google AI Blog: Bard has its own blog post on the Google AI website where you can leave comments and suggestions.
  • Social media: Google AI and Bard have active social media presences on platforms like Twitter (@GoogleAI) and Facebook. You can tag them in your posts or send direct messages to share your feedback.
  • Online reviews: Websites like G2 and Capterra allow users to leave reviews and ratings for AI tools like Bard. This can be a helpful way to share your experience with a wider audience

Feedback and features are very important for a company that is offering products and services as feedback and suggestions help them to improve their products. Since Google is trying to compete with OpenAI, I think will will welcome outr suggestions and feedback.

I've never seen any Google products which doesn't have an option for users to provide feedback from using their services. Google Bard wouldn't be different in this aspect. Google made the provision and it's a good decision because it will help them to know how to improve on the product for users future use.

I think that the easiest way to provide suggestions and feedbacks to Gemini is to engage with the posts of their umbrella company, Google AI on X. That has proven to always be easily noticed by the handlers of the platform. Or you can use the Google AI community.
