Bard vs. ChatGPT: Which LLM is better for creative writing?

I'm trying to decide which LLM to use for my next creative writing project. I've worked mostly with ChatGPT and a little Bard, but I'm not sure which one is right for me. What are your experiences with each of them?

I use AI quite a lot to help me with my creative writing. As much as ChatGPT has been the one AI I have used the most, Bard I have used a little for creative writing and do find that it works well.

I am so used to ChatGPT that I stick with that, I guess as a habit but Bard could be a great alternative.

In my experience, Bard has better language. It is almost unrecognizable from human writing. However, Bard might come with a lot of duplicate content. ChatGPT has robotic language but it the generated content will pass plagiarism test. Which one is better depends on the kind of prompt you provide.

The only problem with ChatGPT is how it's language is always robotic after it have been generated. If this can be corrected in ChatGPT AI program, it's going to be the best in creative writing. Google Bard generated contents sounds more human but it won't give more details like ChatGPT would.

That's true. When you read a Chat GPT generated text, you would just understand that it was done by a robot. It would attempt to introduce in the first part, do an outline and explain in the second part. In the third part, it would summarise the outline. And that's the end of Chat GPT content. Bard doesn't have that defined structure to it's writeup.

Some people generate response with chat GPT. Then do rewrite of the answer with bard. It could help to bypass this problem.

I found both perform similar, but Gemini is free. So, I use the free tool or ChatGPT depending on the work I do.
