Bard Shows Promise, But Gaps Remain

Bard impresses in early testing - conversations feel smoother vs ChatGPT 3.5. Google is making strides.

But GPT-4 will raise the bar later this year. While improved, Bard still struggles with consistency, accuracy, and complex prompts. There's clear potential, but gaps remain vs GPT-4's aims. For now, the advantage still goes to ChatGPT.

Bard could get there with more training. But not ready to surpass next-gen conversational AI yet. The race is on.

Google is always overhyping up their products, and what you'll find is that they're usually of an inferior quality to the opposition. Bard has made significant strides, but Chatgpt-4, even with Openai constantly nerfing it, is still way ahead.

I don't know if I live in a different planet but I find Bard better than ChatGPT. At first prompt, Bard is detailed with responses to queries. At first prompt, Chat GPT always seems like it wants to hoard some details. Same queries, same formats to the two of Bard and ChatGPT. Bard would take time to give you details for that query. Chat GPT would give you an abridged version.

This is the reason why I haven't made the decision to drop using ChatGPT for my work. Bard have been on steady upgrades which is good for what it can be used for but there are still many ways which ChatGPT offers more. I will keep using both of them until they've perfected everything in the AI program.
