AI in charge of city planning - what would cities look like?

If AI took over city planning, how would our cities transform?

Would we see more efficient layouts, green spaces, or perhaps entirely new forms of public infrastructure?

This is a great question. AI taking over city planning would be something I would love to see.

In terms of what we would see when it comes to AI taking over city planning, I believe we would see things such as:

Smart Buildings
Transportation Network that is efficient
Land use that is optimized.

I do believe that if AI took over city planning, there would be a lot more buildings and less waste of space like we see now.

The world would look like those things we are seeing in high end tech sci-fi movies. There will be more advanced smart buildings in form of towers. There are some smart buildings now but AI designed building will be more sophisticated.

If AI were to take over city planning, I think all cities would be made with more technology but would also have better designs and better layouts.
But thinking about it, there might also be barely any green space as AI would place buildings there.
