I'm currently working on a university project where I'm searching for an AI capable of blending various sounds, such as a refrigerator hum, a barking dog, and a piano sonata, to create a completely new sound. Ideally, this AI would also allow for further editing of the resultant sound to produce different variations. I'm uncertain if such a tool exists or if it's a straightforward process. Any insights or information regarding this area would be greatly appreciated.

I like your project already. Check out AI tools for sound synthesis and manipulation. Look into platforms like Google's NSynth or tools based on Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) for audio. They can blend diverse sounds to create unique ones.

There are a lot of AI tools that can not only create music or sound but also blend music and sound. Meta has a project called AudioCraft that will generate sounds based on prompts. NSynth is another AI tool to synthesize sounds. However, I have no experience with using AI to generate sounds.

The AI music generator AIVA tool is capable of giving you more than what you asked for when you're interested in blending different sounds. It can be used to create soundtracks for advertisements, films, games, and other media contents.

AI is capable of blending sounds. There is a process called audio synthesis which involves generating new sounds.
AI can do this by combining existing sounds.

There are many AI tools available that can mix various together and generate aa new one. NSynth and wearenova are the audio mixing tools that works on the machine learning language to create the new sound.

When AI programs can even convert speech to sounds, it should that it's very possible for it to be capable of sound synthesis from different field it can pick up the data from. It can process thousands of sounds and mix up a unique one that will sound very good.

Sonic Foundry Acid Pro is your go to tool that would blend the different kinds of sounds layering them with effects and sequencing to create a new sound. Then, it also allows you to dictate how the different sounds would interplay.

Lyrebird AI is an AI tool that uses machine learning to generate so real voices in every aspect the user wants it. I have been using it for many of the text to speech projects that I've been tasked to complete at the office. It's very good for any kind of voice modifications.

It's all about the prompts which you have used in trying to generate new sounds with the AI tool that is being used. If you don't use the right prompts, the AI tool is going to generate poor sounds. If it's converting, it would be badly done. This is going to mess with the work in a bad way.
