AI and job market polarization - a growing divide?

Is AI contributing to a polarization of the job market, where there's an increasing divide between high-skill, high-pay jobs and low-skill, low-pay jobs?

How might this affect societal inequality?

AI is not only replacing jobs that demand human brains but also human strength. For instance, Amazon is using AI-powered machines to move and sort out things. A lot of companies are using AI to write, design and create. IN order to survive in the job market, we need to build different sets of skills

A big problem is the world's population is exploding and AI could mean less jobs for people. In fact, when people can't get jobs, you get a unstable society and that situation leads to political extremism.

Don't you think AI is creating more job opportunities, in fact, higher paying jobs? While due to AI a lot of jobs will become obsolete, AI will also create new work opportunities. AI will also help people in their workflow, therefore, even semi skilled people might be able to perform better in the job market

I do not think AI will replace human minds but it provides many resources that can help in the advancement of technology with the help of human minds, so no one needs to worry about job polarization. This is my point of view since I also outsource some work and recommend people to use AI but in a way that it can help in enhancing quality and including more trendings formats.

Humans will start to lose jobs as AI robots will begin to take over everything that humans can do.
There need to be certain jobs put into place that only AI can do so that humans can keep their jobs.

AI have been taking human jobs for more than 3 years but it got a lot worst this year. Thousands of people have lost their job this year only all because of AI involvement in their job's sphere. This will keep happening and humans can't win at this new development.

AI willl definitely displace humans from jobs especially low ranked jobs. AI will pose serious problem to job and youth development. As it stands now, AI is displacing writers and freelancers. What will take a writer four hours to write, AI will write better version in less than 3 minutes. AI have come to stay, for us to remain relevant we must upgrade our skills.

I have friends who already lost their jobs as a result of their company's adaption of AI in their work procedures. It's a worrying trend which won't go away anytime soon because it's more like an evolution.

Well, actually, it's like globalization. Globalization killed a lot of jobs despite propaganda saying it wouldn't. Anyway, I understand people need jobs in every country, but it seems like when one gains, the other loses.
