Hi all 😊
Well, from what I heard the year 2024 supposed to be the Year the first Robot's are hitting mainstream 🤖
I am hoping that OpenAI Neo will be affordable one day.
I think if they could make a Table top version like Amica, that would be interesting.
What do you think?Screenshot_20231201_001930_Google.jpg

With how far they have come with robots, I think 2024 is the year for robots.
I've seen loads of making the robots throughout the last few years, and some are almost complete.

Personally, I don't think 2024 is the year of the robot. There are a quite a few models across the world that are effective at specific tasks but only that task and nothing else. We'd need maybe two to three more years minimum before robots can become more of a staple within our lives.

Assumptions is the only thing available for us to have now, but with time, it's going to be realistic with what we can see in the tech and AI sector. Technology is fast advancing, there's a big chance more breakthrough will be witnessed next year 2024.

Yes they did a lot of training. It will start with small ones like human companion robot's. You can Google it and a bunch are popping up.

Well, we won't have in 2024 a humanoid Robot that is shown in Hollywood Movies, but it's obvious that those are used for inspiration to deliver all sorts of gadgets the are our reality now. And so it will be with Robots.

AI is still in its infancy stage though a lot have been achieved. I believe that next year should be the starting point of what we are going to see in the near future. A lot of research is going underground and most of projects is a long term projects which will take more than one year to complete.

Well, we just have to watch out and see how it goes in 2024. I don't see next year being the active year of the robot. it might be a starting point as more research is going on now it might come to be but not just yet.

Yes it's a starting point. If you are doing some research there's a lot more going on than the headlines show. As you mention a lot of research is going on underground. And when they are here, everyone will be surprised 🤣🙄

I'm also looking forward to OpenAI Neo being very much affordable this year because of what the AI program is capable of doing. A lot of people can't have access to it yet but when it becomes very affordable, there's more ways project developers will get their job right.

Honestly, and not meaning to be humorous necessarily, but I see robots (and AI) as a big thing for the sex industry. Well, it's not hard to envision why. Anyway, some future stuff in that might be disruptive to marriages, morality, it's tough to say.

That is a sad reality and Japan is the front runner..just Google it and they had been on it for many Years . Yes, you are right, the mentioned Robot's that will get better and better eventually will cause potentially disruptive on marriages and other Human Relationships.

2022 was the year of the evolution of AIs. 2023, it expanded and became a common phenomena across different niches. I won't be surprised if 2024 would see the explosion of AI powered robots into mainstream. It is easily predictable and expected. Everyone needs to position themselves to tap in.

You have to listen to the Audio book

Truly an eye opener and entertaining.

I will not deny that 2024 may just be the year of the robot but the release of these robots will not go without running into issues.

So much testing and developing has been done on robots and they may very well be ready to launch but without high use of them, some issues may not arise for some time.

Yeah. With the complicated functions most robots would have to perform, it'd be far beyond the capabilities of most of the current ones. The ones that are able to perform more difficult functions are way too expensive for the average consumer.

Robots are bad because they would teach kids to be cruel, because, well, "It's just a robot.". I mean, if it's not real, then how can you respect it? Of course, though, if AI turns them into self-aware genocidal monsters, people definitely won't like them. 😃

A lot of development and research work has already gone into robotics. Few have already found their functionality in some fields to improve the efficiency and productivity. Few more might get launched in coming times. But then it would yet not be year of robots as I feel that they would still not be affordable for many. And moreover, most of them making news so far are for specific tasks and not for general use

In 2024, developers are integrating ai into robotics to understand the human needs and function accordingly. Working with the large amount of data will be the main focus of ai integration in 2024 which will enhance its decision making potential.
