Who can generative AI help the most?

I just finished a book by a Wharton professor that said that gen AI will have the most impact on underperformers. It's not going to make a really good writer great or a really good artist great, instead it will make a really bad write readable. These are simple examples though. What are some real life "really bad at X" that AI will make acceptable?

Thanks,

That's an interesting perspective from the Wharton professor! Here are some real-life examples where AI can elevate underperformers to an acceptable level:
  1. Customer Service Representatives:
    • Current State: Inconsistent responses, lack of knowledge, poor communication skills.
    • With AI: AI-driven chatbots and virtual assistants can provide accurate and consistent responses, ensuring customers receive reliable information quickly and efficiently.
  2. Data Entry Clerks:
    • Current State: High error rates, slow data processing, mundane task performance.
    • With AI: Automated data entry systems can process information with higher accuracy and speed, reducing errors and freeing up time for more valuable tasks.
  3. Content Writers:
    • Current State: Producing low-quality content, grammatical errors, lack of creativity.
    • With AI: AI tools like grammar checkers, content generators, and style enhancers can improve readability, coherence, and engagement in written content.
