OpenAI plans to share a portion of its revenue with creators of the most used and useful GPTs in the GPT Store. How might this revenue-sharing model impact the motivation and innovation among AI developers and enthusiasts?

I am not aware of this news and I do not know how they are actually going to share the revenue with developers. I guess, the company will be paying some portion of the money it makes through selling subscriptions. By the way, I use GPT 3.5, which is free.
