Traditionally, account reconciliation has been a month-end activity. But with more real-time systems and constant data flow, it feels like reconciliation is becoming an ongoing process rather than a fixed task.
We’ve been experimenting with Accounts Reconciliation software to keep matching running in the background, and it’s been useful in reducing backlog during close.
Curious how others are approaching this:

Curious how others are approaching this:
- Are you still doing account reconciliation at fixed intervals, or moving toward continuous monitoring?
- Does continuous reconciliation actually reduce pressure at close?
