Anyone Tried Upgrading Dell OptiPlex 5040 with NVidia RTX 4000 SFF (70W) for AI Workloads?

I've got an aging Dell Desktop, OptiPlex 5040, packing a Gen I Core i7 and 16 GB of RAM. No gaming here; my sole purpose is AI workloads.
Considering the NVidia RTX 4000 SFF – thinking of slotting it into my desktop at 75W via PCIe. It might save me from the hefty 4K investment I was planning for a 4090 build. Has anyone tried this? What was your experience with the RTX 4000 SFF?"

I haven't tried the RTX 4000 SFF on a Dell OptiPlex 5040, but it sounds like a solid move for AI workloads. The 75W via PCIe is a smart choice to avoid a major upgrade for the RTX which i guess runs on 70W. This should work, but you will need several units for speed.

I haven't tried the RTX 4000 SFF on a Dell OptiPlex 5040. I haven't used DELL products unfortunately. It have been HP that's the brand which relates to me very well. The user interface of HP desktop is far more easier for me to use than any other products out there..

I have never used a Dell Desktop or laptop. So, I haven't used the RTX 4000 SFF as I don't have any Dell products to use or upgrade it on. Maybe when I want to buy another desktop computer, I would have to consider buying Dell and use the RTX 4000 SFF if it's still a trend.
