I'm conducting research on the legality of AI voiceovers for a project idea. In my country, there's no specific law addressing this, so I'm seeking insights from the forum community. Can anyone provide information or point me toward any laws or regulations related to AI-generated voiceovers?

AI-generated voiceovers is still evolving and there are no comprehensive laws or regulations addressing this technology in most country around the world. However, there are several factors that need to be addressed. For example, AI-generated voice is not copyrighted, but the data that is used to train it many be protected.

AI voiceovers are still very much in their early days and because of that and how much they are used currently, I don't believe there are any laws as it stands.

I believe as AI voiceovers develop, laws will be brought in when needed to prevent misuse.
