Great minds think alike. I also have a personal repository of AI tools I've been updating for the past two years. Mine's nowhere as detailed as the ones here, though. It only contains tools I've tried before, and it probably needs to be updated. Thanks for providing this, Bren.
First of all, Happy Holidays to everyone, and I hope you enjoyed spending time with your family. I spent mine in the hospital but still loved it because my family brought me gifts. Did you enjoy the holidays?
On average, I'd say at least once a day. I find myself using ChatGpt for all kinds of things - From the most insignificant things to very important projects, it's become a part of my daily routine. It helps me with all kinds of writing assignments which include: Resume and Cover Letter writing...
Personally, I use ChatGpt for the following:
1) Help in writing articles
2) Research
3) Resume & Cover Letter Writing
4) Online Search
5) Ideas
6) Script Writing
And many more.
ChatGpt, in its current form, is already restricted in that you can't ask it to product any information about certain topics. If anyone remembers when ChatGpt just launched, you could ask it to do a whole host of stuff. Over time, they kept put more restrictions on it, and it became less...
I don't think it'll have that big of an impact, as ChatGpt isn't even capable of deciphering what information is news-worthy. Furthermore, in its current state, ChatGpt, outside of helping with things like ideas for topics or writing a draft for an article, isn't really useful to journalists.
Same here. I find myself doing this a lot, especially when the article contains a lot of fluff. I've found that in recent years, a number of companies have started to put out articles with very little useful information, with the majority of its content pure fluff.
It was a whole drama that lasted for a week. Basically, it was a power-play by Sam Altman to get his way because he wanted to speed up the advancement of AI while the board wanted him to slow down, so that they could milk it for profit. In the end, he won.
It can be helpful, but I don't recommend relying on it if you need current information because ChatGpt's database is updated to 2021. Outside of that, it's extremely useful as a search engine. Then again, almost anything beats Google search at this point.
I use it to help me come up with topics, especially when I'm experiencing writer's block. I wouldn't recommend solely relying on it to correct grammatical errors, punctuation, and writing issues. Instead, using something like Grammarly alongside ChatGpt helps you to produce higher-quality content.
I'd recommend at least reading over the content before posting it. Also, I'd say to do some fact-checking because ChatGpt is known to produce incorrect information at times. I'd recommend users use Grammarly to correct the wording and grammar, a plagiarism checker to ensure the information is...
AI has already started to affect some job sectors already. For instance, Amazon has started using robots to deliver packages in certain parts of the US, and is currently testing them in warehouses to replace workers. There are companies like IBM that are currently experimenting with using AI...
AI won't be phased-out anytime soon. If anything, it'll be the thing that phases out a lot of current standards in terms of labor. We're already seeing AI starting to get a foothold in certain sectors like customer service as it's far cheaper to use AI than to hire a human worker, and as AI...
If I'm being completely honest, not really. I mean, it does help me in certain tasks, but I wouldn't say it's had a groundbreaking effect on my life. At least, not yet. I'm aware there are some pretty good AI tools currently available, and I've tried out most of them. In my opinion, most of them...
I'm aware of that, but the fact remains that AI in its current form isn't anywhere near good enough to match a human's creativity. The current versions of AI technology are what I'd call enhancers - they can enhance a human's output, but isn't capable of coming up with any unique ideas or...
AI in its current form will never be able to match the creativity of humans, as creativity goes way beyond typical logic and reasoning. It is an inherent gift of the mortals, and we're not just talking about humans either. Casually observe nature, and you'll see plenty of it.
Yeah, I know that current AI implementation should really be called advanced machine learning. It relies solely on data input, and cannot come up with innovative ways of doing many things just yet, but that may be due to AI companies nerfing its capabilities. By the way, I haven't watched the...
Ah - You're right. I thought we were talking about permanently engraved tattoos, not the superficial ones - my bad. I was talking about AI machines that'd engrave tattoos and was comparing them to regular tattoo artists in terms of efficiency, hygiene, and other factors.
I
You hit the nail right on the head there. Ai would simply create one based on the information that was already fed to it, and cannot come up with any unique recipes. It's just that Ai would be a lot more efficient at gathering such information.
I'd agree - Ai would probably do a far better job than a lot of tattoo artists, and would like be far more precise. In addition to that, it'd probably have safety mechanism such as an emergency button incase the needle goes too deep, properly sterilizing the needles, and also would have a...
