In my C-based claims-adjudication replay project, we checked calculated payments against known expected totals. I’d take a similar approach here: give each generated strategy a small, fixed dataset with expected entries, exits, and position sizes.

That would also help test your multi-platform support. If two versions produce different trades, users should be able to see whether the cause is a code translation issue or a difference in execution rules. I’d find that more useful than code generation alone.

Can You Turn a Trading Idea into Pine Script?
Have a strategy in mind but aren’t sure how to code it for TradingView?
EasyQuant helps turn plain-language rules into Pine Script strategies or indicators. Describe your entry conditions, exits, timeframe, and position sizing, then review and test the generated code.
Which part would you find hardest to explain: entries, exits, or risk management?

One useful way to try EasyQuant is to give it a specific trading rule and ask it to explain how that rule maps to Pine Script. For example: “Enter only after the candle closes above the previous day’s high, with a stop below its low.”

That gives you something concrete to inspect and test in TradingView. I’d love to hear which rules you find hardest to translate into code.

Interesting project! Turning trading ideas into code could be really useful, especially for people who understand trading strategies but aren't comfortable programming them from scratch.

One thing I'm curious about is how EasyQuant handles risk management rules. For example, if someone describes a strategy with a stop-loss, position sizing, and specific entry conditions, can the tool translate all of those rules accurately?

I'd also be interested in how users can validate the generated code before running it with real money. Having a clear way to review and backtest the strategy seems just as important as generating the code itself.

Would love to hear how you're approaching that.
